And you can simply level the walls with drywall or plaster. Plaster is more appropriate for large irregularities in the walls. And if the walls are quite even, you do not need to put many layers of material. In such situations, puttying may be enough.

After levelling the surfaces and solving the issues with the installation of communications, you can begin to finish. It is useful to know that the ceiling can be covered with emulsion paint: and it looks beautiful, and moisture drops do not accumulate. But you can also mount panels or use a stretch ceiling. This stage of the work is carried out after the other finishing.

If you plan to cover the space under the bath with a screen, you can save money on tiles, not laying them on the floor under the bath. It is recommended to start tiling with the walls, and then proceed to the floor. The lowest row of wall tiles is laid after finishing the floor.
